Position Summary:
Sales and Admissions Coordinators represent LCC International University to prospective students and their families on the phone, by email/text/letter and in person. Coordinators share responsibility for developing and implementing programs and activities designed to enroll new students at LCC. This position runs a full range of recruitment and admissions efforts, including travel to target markets, presentations, on-campus events, individual meetings, application review and related duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement student recruitment strategies to include correspondence, interviews and telemarketing strategies.
- Develop and prioritize a database of schools, churches, organizations, and other contacts to generate student interest.
- High-school presentations, fairs, and any other recruitment events as set in the Admissions Department goals and marketing strategies.
- Research and gain expertise in the target markets – visiting appropriate institutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with qualified prospects by phone to help provide them with the information necessary to help them decide if LCC is a good choice for them.
- Make regular contact with admitted students to ensure they understand the preparation process, meet deadlines.
Basic Expectations:
- A significant amount of time travelling is central to the position. It is expected that coordinators are on the road for 2-10 weeks per year (depends on area of responsibilities). When not traveling, normal office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- Occasional evening and weekend work is required from September to May. Coordinators receive compensation time off or overtime for work required outside of normal working hours.
Minimal Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience: Previous experience in admissions/marketing/administration/event organizing preferred.
Passion: for the transformative power of a Christian, liberal arts higher education and for connecting with high school students and helping them navigate towards a good and hopeful future.
Skills:
- Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills in English required (Russian recommended)
- Ability to work independently within a team structure
- Strong self-motivation and initiative
- Superior computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Understanding of and commitment to high-quality Christian liberal arts education and multiculturalism
- Creative thinking and ability to organize and host events
- Must be a problem solver and able to deal with a variety of situations - we are looking for an “extra-mile” attitude.
- Willingness to work cooperatively and constructively with a wide variety of people
- Must be able to lift and carry travel displays and related materials
- Driving license is a plus

Salary: starting from 1200 EUR (before tax) – may vary depending on the qualifications and skills of the applicant
