LCC International University's International Business Administration Department is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach introductory accounting courses, as well as other general business courses, and to contribute to faculty research. The position begins on August 1, 2025. The successful applicant would be able to teach GAAP accounting and also a course in either finance or statistics to the general business student population.
The faculty load is 4/4 (one of which is a research load credit in either the fall or spring semester), with a summer research load credit as well. All faculty are expected to conduct research and participate in the active intellectual life of the institution.
The University: LCC International University is a fully accredited liberal arts university located in the port city of Klaipeda, Lithuania. Instruction is in English and the campus is residential. Qualifications for Faculty Member:
Ph.D. in Accounting or Finance highly preferred.
Prior teaching experience in higher education and/or experience in accounting. Rank of appointment commensurate with qualifications.
Ability and willingness to adapt to a highly diverse international context.
Demonstrated record of scholarship preferred.
Commitment to student-centered teaching and learning within a Christian worldview.
Responsibilities for the Faculty Member:
Teach courses in areas of specialty (accounting).
Mentor and advise students; supervise thesis projects.
Publish scholarly work and/or conduct applied research.
