Faculty Position in Business (August 2024)

Klaipeda, Lithuania
Position Summary: LCC International University seeks candidates for a faculty position teaching in the International Business Administration Department. Specialization within the Business fields are open, but areas of priority include management (teaching classes such as HR management, Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Business Environment). The faculty load is typically 3/3 for teaching. Additionally, faculty who hold a terminal degree will have a research load as their 4th component of load. All faculty are expected to conduct research and participate in the active intellectual life of the institution.

The University: LCC International University is a fully accredited liberal arts university located in the port city of Klaipeda, Lithuania. Instruction is in English and the campus is residential. Our 650 students from divergent faith backgrounds come from over 60 countries for an education modeled on the North American liberal arts college with a Christian worldview.


Duties and Responsibilities for the Faculty Member:
  • Teach courses in areas of specialty
  • Teach core courses and offer electives in the BA program in International Business Administration
  • Mentor and advise students; supervise thesis projects.
  • Participate in departmental and university faculty life, including meetings, committees, advising, and interaction with students.
  • Publish scholarly work and/or conduct applied research
Qualifications for the Faculty Member:
  • Ph.D. in Business, Management, Leadership, Organizational Behavior or a related field highly preferred. Professional experience a plus, but not required. Rank of appointment commensurate with qualifications.
  • Three years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to a highly diverse international context.
  • Demonstrated record of scholarship preferred.
  • Commitment to student-centered teaching and learning within a Christian worldview.
