Faculty Position: Faculty Member in International Development

Klaipeda, Lithuania

LCC International University’s International Relations and Development Department invites applications for a full-time faculty position in development to begin in fall semester 2023. The position involves teaching the required courses in development, conducting research, and participating in the active intellectual life of the campus. Teaching load is 4/4, with load credit given for duties such as advising student theses or work with accreditation.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching required introductory courses in development.
  • Conducting, presenting, and publishing original research in the area of specialty.
  • Teaching advanced courses in a specialized area.
  • Providing academic advising to selected students.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in development or closely related field or a Master’s degree in development with at least three years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in teaching at the undergraduate level.
  • Demonstrated commitment to education that is student-centered and shaped by a Christian worldview.
  • Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of a culturally diverse student body.

The University:
LCC International University is a fully accredited liberal arts university located in the port city of Klaipeda, Lithuania. Instruction is in English and the campus is residential.
