Position Summary: To give leadership to the Human Resources Division in attracting, hiring, and retaining quality people for LCC; providing structures for support (personal, logistical, spiritual, financial); and promoting growth (professional and personal) in order to contribute to the overall mission of LCC. To maintain oversight of all HR-related functions and policies in Lithuania and North America. Duties and Responsibilities:
RECRUITMENT
To set and implement long-range talent management goals.
To develop and oversee the recruitment strategy for an international community of approximately 150 employees.
THE EMPLOYEE CYCLE
To oversee and ensure a positive experience throughout the complete cycle of employment from interviewing, onboarding and orientation; to employee wellbeing and engagement.
COMPENSATION MANAGEMENT
To recommend competitive salaries and benefits, and implement employee compensation as approved by President’s Cabinet.
To oversee the institutional payroll budget.
To ensure compliance with Lithuanian Labor Law.
CORPORATE CULTURE / ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
To oversee the infusion of the institutional values into corporate culture.
To oversee the development and implementation of institutional professional development programs.
To strengthen, implement, and oversee faculty and staff performance management processes.
To oversee the employee recognition programs.
FUNDRAISING AND CHARITY RELATIONS
To administer and support expatriate fundraising activities, payroll and reimbursement processes through the US and Canadian charities.
Relationships:
REPORTS TO: President WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Executive Cabinet, President’s Cabinet, Department Heads, HR Staff, US/Canadian charity offices
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree
Experience in Human Resources
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Exceptional organizational skills
Strong self-motivation and initiative
Ability to carefully handle confidential information
Strong commitment to the institutional mission of LCC
Preferred Qualifications: One or more of the following qualifications:
Experience in higher education
Familiarity with LCC International University
