Director of Cyber Technology Center (CTC)

Position Summary:
The Director of the LCC Cyber Technology Center (CTC) advances the mission of the CTC by providing leadership to the Center’s activities, including: guidance of CTC priorities; planning projects and events; designing and promoting technology training opportunities; liaising with local, regional and international stakeholders; and supervising of annual budget and resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Design and promote technology training opportunities.
2. Plan CTC-led events, such as: conferences, lectures and public presentations, seminars and workshops, social and community initiatives.
3. Offer support for departments/schools of the university in technology-related training and needs, including university course instruction.
4. Partner with like-minded people, centers, and academic institutions.
5. Seek external funding sources to supplement and support the Center and its activities.

REPORTS TO: Executive Director for Business Development
WORKS CLOSELY WITH: VP for Academics, faculty members with expertise in the cyber/technology fields
LINKS WITH: Institutions of higher education and like-minded institutes/centers largely within Europe and North America

Job Requirements:
Education: Master’s Degree required; PhD preferred
Experience: three years of work experience in higher education required; direct prior experience in some area of cyber-technology training required

Workload: 0.5 – 1.0 FTE
Workload is dependent upon amount of training assigned via CTC and/or teaching assigned for LCC BA (and/or MA) students

Salary: starting from gross 1,100 EUR gross (0.5 FTE)
