Admissions Office Administrator

Position Summary: To be responsible for foreign academic qualification recognition process. To provide supervision for the office activities; to be in charge of the office when the counsellors are on the road; to provide administrative support and delegate responsibilities to the student assistants. To represent the university to prospective students and parents on the phone, by email/letter and in person at campus events or off campus presentations. Guiding and counselling new BA/MA applicants.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Developing, implementing and administering foreign academic qualification recognition processes;
  • Office administration and logistical support to the counsellors;
  • Representing the university to prospective students and parents on the phone, by email/letter and in person at campus events or off campus presentations;
  • Guiding and counselling BA/MA applicants
  • Being in charge of the administrative systems of the office: cataloguing mailed documents, notifications, coordinating newly accepted student files and their transfer to the Registrar’s office, etc..;
  • Organizing assigned special projects and campus events (as assigned by the Admissions Director)
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Admissions Director
Job Qualifications:
  • Occasional weekend work should be expected for campus events, travels, etc. 
  • The position requires a significant amount of time on the phone. Some evening phone work may be required to achieve phone contact goals. These days will be determined in coordination with the Admissions Director.
  • The position requires to be flexible to the critical needs of the Admissions Office and be willing and able to shift tasks
Basic qualifications:                                           
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Previous experience in admissions/marketing/administration preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in Lithuanian and English required, Russian would be a benefit
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong self-motivation and initiative
  • Superior computer skills in MS Word, Excel
Other:
  • Experience in working with e-mail marketing
  • Creativeness and ability to organize and host events
  • Willingness to work cooperatively and constructively with a wide variety of people
  • Must be a problem solver and able to deal with a variety of situations -“extra-mile” attitude. 
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and feel comfortable driving alone (not required but would be a benefit)
  • Understanding of and commitment to high-quality Christian liberal arts education and multiculturalism
  • Willingness to work cooperatively and constructively with a wide variety of people
