Position Summary:  Assists with the coordination of Student Life (SL) activities and provides support for students where needed.  S/he is responsible for all aspects of managing the SL front desk, including but not limited to, supervising all student receptionists and main LCC reception area, improving systems and procedures, working with SL budget, scheduling meetings and appointments, minute-taking, managing the all-student email list and social media groups, working with room reservation conflicts, ordering supplies, filing, answering the phone and other general office duties as assigned. 
     
Duties and Responsibilities:   
1. Effectively organizes SL office process: handles enquiries from students and guests, answers phone calls, and provides general information to LCC community about Student Life programs and services, maintains professional, organized Student Life public office space.
2. Works closely with Migrations Coordinator and Director of Student Support and Career Development on development of accessible student services and student support.
3. Assists the Director of Student Support and Career Development on various career-related projects.
4. Recruits, trains, and supervises student reception staff in DeFehr Center. Assists Residence Life staff in managing front desk staff in the residence halls (timesheets, schedules, recruitment) .
5. Monitors the SL budget expenditures by managing systems for reimbursement for SL staff. Coordinates with Finance office to ensure timely reimbursements.
6. In conjunction with SL management team members, ensures that Student Life web Pages are up to date.
7. Manages the all student email listserve and informs students about the different events by creating and sending a weekly [e]vents email, managing LCC-on-campus Facebook page, supervising bulletin boards.
8. Coordinates external and summer guest housing together with Residence Life staff.
9. Provides information and assistance on student health insurance and medical services.
10. Manages student ID card questions and helps resolve issues, coordinates the replacement of lost ID cards.
11. Manages campus master calendar regarding room reservations as well as events calendar. 
12. Regularly updates the Student Handbook with relevant information
13. Responsible for ordering and distributing general office supplies and the stock of printing paper for LCC.
14. Provides support with SL events: purchasing, ordering, translations, representation, etc. 
15. Assists in organizing institutional events.
  
Relationships:  
Reports to: Director of Student Support and Career Development
Works closely with:  VP, Student Life, Migrations Coordinator, Facilities Manager, Human Resources staff, Residence Life staff, Intercultural Education Coordinator 

Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Lithuanian required. (Russian preferred). Mentoring / supervisory skills. Attention to details. Ability to work independently. Proficiency in MS Office. Be a team player, flexible, accurate, communicative, and take initiative.
