LCC International University seeks candidates for a faculty position in the International Business Administration (IBA) Department, with a primary disciplinary background in Finance.

We are especially seeking candidates with a strong grounding in finance who can teach introductory and upper-level finance courses. Demonstrated expertise in areas such as corporate finance, financial markets, investments, or financial analysis is essential, and the ability to teach managerial finance, international finance, or quantitative methods is highly desirable.

The University
LCC International University is a fully accredited liberal arts university located in the port city of Klaipėda, Lithuania. Instruction is in English and the campus is residential. Our more than 500 students from diverse faith backgrounds come from nearly 60 countries for an education modeled on the North American liberal arts college, grounded in a Christian worldview.

Responsibilities

Teaching foundational and advanced (or intermediate) courses in finance at the undergraduate level.
Conducting, presenting, and publishing original research in an area of specialty.
Serving as an academic advisor to selected students regarding their academic programs.
Supervising selected student theses or capstone projects in the major.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, Business, or a closely related field by the time of appointment; Candidates with a Master’s degree in finance or a related field and at least three years of relevant professional experience may be considered.
Demonstrated competence in undergraduate teaching.
Demonstrated commitment to and experience working with a culturally diverse student body.
Ability and desire to work collegially within an interdisciplinary, Christian academic community.
Demonstrated commitment to student-centered teaching and learning within a Christian worldview.

Monthly gross salary for 1.0 FTE from EUR 1800 to 2800 depending on rank, professional experience and academic qualifications.
