Undergraduate Admissions Recruiter

Position Summary:  Undergraduate Admissions Recruiters at LCC International University serve as the front-line sales force for student enrollment. Using a sales-oriented approach, the recruiter engages prospective students and their families across a variety of channels, including email, phone, social media, and in-person events, to drive awareness and generate leads. This role requires a keen ability to manage recruitment funnels, assess and qualify prospects, and convert interest into applicants. The recruiter does not manage or review applications but instead serves as the first point of contact, building relationships, promoting the university, and directing interested students to the appropriate admissions contacts for further steps.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, sales-oriented recruitment plan aimed at attracting both domestic and international prospective students.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for LCC International University at educational fairs, workshops, high school visits, church events, and other recruitment-related activities.
  • Organize and lead campus tours, information sessions, webinars, and virtual meetings for prospective students.
  • Build, manage and optimize a robust pipeline of prospective students from initial contact to qualified lead status.
  • Utilize CRM and other digital tools to track recruitment funnel metrics and conversion rates, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. 
  • Establish and nurture relationships with high schools, community colleges, educational agencies, and other key referral partners to create a steady flow of qualified leads. 
  • Serve as a first point of contact for prospective students and families, providing accurate and engaging information about LCC programs, student life, and admissions pathways.
  • Collaborate with alumni and student ambassadors to strengthen outreach and increase visibility in key markets.
  • Conduct research to identify trends, target demographics, and competitive opportunities in recruitment markets.
  • Analyze data from recruitment activities to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with the Director of Admissions to define and assess recruitment goals and performance indicators.
  • Maintain detailed records of recruitment contacts, travel schedules, and event participation.
  • Prepare regular reports summarizing recruitment activity, outreach effectiveness, and market feedback.
  • Ensure that all outreach efforts align with university policies, communication standards, and ethical guidelines.

Basic Expectations: 
  • A significant amount of travel is required: 2–10 weeks per year depending on assigned territories.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work from September to May as needed for recruitment events.
  • While traveling and working remotely, recruiter is expected to maintain regular communication with the office and adhere to established schedules.
Qualifications needed: 
 
EDUCATION:
  • B.A. degree required.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience in recruitment, sales, marketing is preferred.
 SKILLS:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the broader team
  • Self-driven with excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in digital platforms for communication and presentations
  • Creative mindset with enthusiasm for engaging diverse student audiences
  • Strong alignment with the mission of Christian liberal arts education and appreciation for multicultural settings
  • Must be able to lift and carry marketing materials and travel equipment
  • Valid drivers license is a plus.

WORKLOAD:  Full time
